Who Am I?

In my 34 years on this earth I’ve learned I don’t like to define myself too rigidly because I’m always changing. I try to remain fluid and open and my opinions change as I gain new understanding and increase my knowledge. You’ll find out who I am soon enough, and I’m happy to share myself with you. We don’t have to get along, and you may not like me, but that’s okay.

Who am I?

First and foremost, I’m a mother. My littles are my life and the reason why I do what I do. They’re amazing little humans and I’m proud that I had a part in that. I love having pets, Llama is my asshole cat and she lives up to that reputation, but I love her for it. I’m also a daughter, a sister, and a friend to anyone who needs one.

I’m an artist through and through. I write, paint, dabble in photography from time to time, and model. I’m outspoken sometimes as well as understanding and patient. I have a unique sense of humor and find ways to laugh my way through life. I have a passion for people and psychology and love to study the interactions people have, it gives me an understanding of what motivates and drives us as humans.

I’m an avid popcorn lover and rarely turn down a glass of wine.

I live with a sleep disorder that can be horribly debilitating, but I’m also strong and don’t let it define me. I’m a survivor of abuse and will always stand up to bullies, regardless of what form they take. I have an adventurous spirit and want to be a gypsy when I grow up (though I’ll never allow myself to grow up too much). I’m a feisty redhead with very little fear who swears too much, but I clean up well when it’s required. I’ve accomplished a lot, and I’m not embarrassed to own my failures.

I’m also just a girl standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her. Oh, wait…

All in all, I’m me and I love who that person is becoming. There’s so much life to live and I live mine without rules or restrictions, because where’s the fun in that?
